For those curious about the ranking system, an item’s score is a number from zero to one, that is [0-1], where the higher the score, the better it will be ranked. It is computed as (#wins) / (#wins + #losses), where a win is defined as you picking the item in one of the comparison pairings, and a loss is defined as you not picking the item (i.e. picking the OTHER item) in one of the comparison pairings.
This system of ranking is similar to the Condorcet method. If you study voting theory, you will find that when comparing more than 2 candidates, there is no “perfect” voting system, but we believe that in many poll questions, our system of ranking provides a very good approximation of the candidates’ true ranks.
